How to remove and reinstall a steering wheel on 2003 Mazda Protege?

Turn ignition off; disconnect the negative battery, waiting if there's an airbag. Point wheel straight, remove horn pad screws-older models lift the pad, newer detach the airbag and connectors. Mark shaft-hub alignment and use a puller to remove the wheel. Reinstall aligning marks, tighten nut, reconnect battery and airbag wiring.
