2006 Mazda 6 Clutch Release Bearing Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to remove and inspect the Clutch Release Bearing on 2006 Mazda 6?
A: In order to take out the transaxle, unscrew the fork of the clutch release and shift the release bearing off. Check the bearing, is it damaged; not to be immersed in solvent. In case it is noisy or rough, change it. After lubricating the surfaces of the friction, reassemble the release lever and the bearing, in the same sequence as you removed them.
