How to remove and replace the EGR valve on 2010 Mazda 3?

Take out the battery cover, and lose the negative terminal cable. Rotate the upper engine cover off next and drain the cooling system. Unscrew air intake duct, unwind EGR valve connector and unscrew EGR valve. Wipe the gasket areas off and reassemble with a fresh gasket and pour the system back with coolant.
