How to disconnect the starter motor and replace it on 2010 Mazda 3?

Unplug the cable of the negative battery. Put the vehicle on jackstands and take away the underbody cover. In the manual transaxles, the clutched release cylinder should be removed. Cut off the wires of the starter and disassemble it and wipe out the insulator / gasket which is damaged. Removal is the opposite of installation.
