In order to access the power steering pump, disconnect a negative battery terminal and drain the fluid out of the reservoir. In 2005 and earlier models, take off the drivebelt, hose disconnections and pump detaching. In the case of 2006 and subsequent models, proceed in the same manner. Installation is the opposite as proper torque and fluid content are guaranteed.
