Remove the battery cover and disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Next, take off the center console lower sidewall trim panel from the passenger's side. Then, remove the Passenger Junction Box (PJB) mounting fastener and bracket. For 2007 and later models, disconnect the evaporator sensor connector and, for full-auto A/C models, the power "MOSFET" connector. After that, remove the cabin air filter cover and the cabin air filter. Install the new cabin air filter with the arrows on the filter pointing towards the rear of the vehicle, and complete the process by reversing the removal steps.
