Where is the MAP sensor located and How to remove and install it on Mazda 3?

MAP sensor is found at the bottom of intake manifold just above the starter motor. Start by taking out the cover of the battery and disconnect the cable in the negative battery terminal. Then lift the upper engine cover, pressing it upwards on either side and removing it off the posts in the centre. Unplug the electrical connector and vacuum hose of the MAP sensor and loosen the retaining bolt and remove the sensor of the intake manifold. It can be useful to take off the starter motor in order to access the sensor better. Removal is the opposite of installation.
