  To take out the door glass on pickups, begin by removing the door panel, and cut off the weather screening, taking it back to use. Put the glass in a way to reach the mounting screws in the door frame and take them out, and then the inner and outer weatherstripping. The second step is to remove the mounting bolt of the glass guide, raise the glass straight up and out of the door then remove the mounting bolts to remove the regulator assembly. To install, follow the reverse process and re-position the door glass to fit into the door. In the case of MPVs, it is important to first, remove the door trim panel and support bracket followed by the weather screen, speaker and mirror. Take out the front belt line molding, open the window to the glass retaining screws, and pick the glass off of the channel. To a manual regulator, just remove the bolts and pull out the regulator, on a power regulator just remove the bolts and drill out the rivets and then pull out the regulator. Install the new regulator and re-fit parts in reverse sequence with new rivets on power regulators. To install, fit the assembly of glass bracket and regulator, fit it into the door, and attach the base plate with the locator tab, fit the regulator with new rivets or bolts, refit the equalizer bracket, door belt weatherstrip, and glass stabilizer, and verify the operation of the glass before aligning the trim panel of the door.
