The master cylinder of the brake fluid must have a fluid that is higher than the specifications of the DOT 3 and the brake fluid must be clean and of high quality to ensure that the brake system works safely and properly. Buy only the best grade possible and in case the fluid gets contaminated empty and rinse the system then refill the master cylinder with clean fluid, reused fluid should never be used and any fluid that has been emptied should be discarded. It is also important to ensure that brake fluid does not touch painted surfaces because it is destructive. Polyglycol ethers and polyglycos are present in brakes fluid and therefore do not touch eyes and wash hands thoroughly after touching, in case of contact, wash eyes with clean water 15 minutes and seek medical attention in case of irritation or when ingested. In all Mazda models except the 1990-92 626 and MX-6, the fluid level in the combination brake/clutch fluid reservoir should be at the level of the MIN and MAX marks; a fluid should be added to the car; clean the area where the cap is kept remove the cap by turning counterclockwise, add the fluid and put the cap in place without spilling onto the paint. With the 1990-92 MX-6 and 626 models, the clear reservoir makes it possible to check fluid levels without the need to remove the cap and the same applies in terms of adding fluid and not letting it spill.
