How to remove and install the door lock assembly on Mazda Millenia?

Removal and installation of thereof - Disconnect negative battery cable may be required to remove and install door lock assembly. Then remove inner door panel and inner door screening. In case the locks are powered, remove the power lock controller off the lock assembly. Next, a door lock mounting screw is removed and the linkage is disconnected and the lock assembly can be removed out of the door. To install, undo the steps to remove the screws to mount door locks and tighten mounting screw 37-55 inch lbs. (4.2-6.2 Nm).
