To remove and install the window motor, first disconnect the negative battery cable. Next, take off the door panel and the inner door shielding. Unplug the power window motor electrical connector located inside the door. Prop the window in the up position and remove the mounting bolts for the window motor, then take the motor out of the door. For installation, reverse the removal steps and ensure the motor mounting bolts are tightened to 61-87 inch lbs. (6.9-9.8 Nm).
