- Q: How to remove and install a window regulator on Mazda Millenia?A:Removal and installation To take the regulator of the window, a window first lower the window glass, remove the inner handle cover, door lock knob (where needed), window regulator handle, and the door trim panel. In vehicles that have power windows, unscrew the wiring couplings. Peel the door screen carefully and reuse it. Installation of the bolts and door glass can be done by replacing the window regulator handle and adjusting the door glass in such a way that the installation bolts are revealed through the service hole and the bolts are removed and the door glass is removed. Then remove the regulator installation bolts then the regulator itself using the service access hole and the window motor mounting bolts so as to separate the motor and the regulator. To install, follow the steps used to remove, with the exception that in case the vehicle has power windows the motor leads should be affixed to a battery to ensure that the regulator is run down before the motor is installed. Lastly, keep on cycling the window to ensure it works.
