  Q: How to remove and install a fog light on Mazda Millenia?

  In order to install and remove the fog lights, disconnect the negative battery cable first. Then remove the mounting nut on the mounting bracket of the fog light and the assembly that contains the fog light housing and the mounting bracket using the front fascia of the vehicle. Unscrew the screws of the retaining brackets of the lens of the fog lights at the housing and then the lens assembly can be removed very carefully and the electrical connectors can be unscrewed. Carefully pull out the wire containing rubber grommet and wire harness out of the housing, and then remove the mounting nut out of the bracket, and the bracket out of the moisture light housing. To remove the bulb, remove the rubber grommet in the lens assembly with care, press the release tabs in the bulb retaining bracket and then lift the bulb assembly straight out of the lens. Before installation, the process is the opposite of the un-installing, making sure that the bulb is fitting into the lens assembly. Halogen fog light bulb is a dangerous item, one should always use with care since there is gas inside the bulb under pressure and when the bulb is dropped or the glass envelope is scratched, it can easily break and when such happens it can break and cause injuries to the child, so the bulb should not be left in the hands of the child.
