To install and remove the parts, the initial step would be to remove the
Steering Knuckle out of the car and put it in a vise with shielded jaws. Removal of inner oil seal of the knuckle, followed by use of Mazda hub puller tools 49 G033102, 49 6033104 and 49 G033105 or other equivalents to remove the front wheel hub of the knuckle assembly. Then take out the bearing inner race of the front wheel hub and detach the retaining ring out of the knuckle. The hub puller tools should be employed to press the front
Wheel Bearing out of the knuckle and take away the brake dust shield. Clean and clean up all components, without washing and cleaning the wheel bearing that should be changed. To install, remove a dust shield cover assembly, install a new dust shield cover assembly by using Mazda press tools 49 G033107 and 49 H026 1 03 or similar tools to join the knuckle. Next, insert a new wheel bearing into a knuckle assembly using the press tools then install the wheel bearing retaining ring as well as install a new oil seal with installation tool 49 V001 795. Last but not least, fit-on the front wheel hub with the Mazda press tools or the like.
