Unconnect the negative cable in the battery, then take the steering column covers off. Then remove the instrument cluster housing and the cluster retaining screws with the aid of a needle-nose pliers to disconnect the clip and break the shift indicator cable on those models that have the automatic transmission. Take the cluster off and grab the back of it and press the tab on the
Speedometer Cable collar so as to disconnect the cable. Once the retaining screws have been removed, unscrew the instrument cluster and unplug the electrical connectors by pressing the clips and un-snapping them. Lastly, access the cluster by pulling it out, disconnection the electrical connections and remove the cluster as part of the installation is the opposite of the removal.
