How to disconnect and remove the starter motor and Starter Solenoid from the battery on Mazda MPV?

de-connect the cable on the negative terminal of the battery, and take off the starter motor. Then unscrew the strap connecting the starter to the starter motor connection and unscrew the screws that hold the starter to the starter motor which is different with the four-cylinder versus V6 engines. Unscrew the starter with the starter body and take out the plunger and the spring of the plunger. Removal is the opposite of installation.
