In earlier models (2005 and below), the first step is to take out the trim panel under the glove box followed by disconnecting the electrical connector of the blower motor. The second step involves the removal of three screws that connect the blower motor to the housing and pulling the blower motor out and down at the same time. To remove the blower fan, unscrew the clip off the shaft and drag the fan off the motor and it is the same way to re-assemble. In the case of the blower housing, disassembly requires the removal of the glove box, electrical connector of the heater blower, the seal with the left end of the blower unit, and the removal of the upper bolt and two lower nuts, and vice versa on re-assembling. On 2006 and subsequent models, the next step is to take the trim panel under the glove box off, disconnect the electrical connector to the blower motor and then remove the mounting screws to remove the blower motor assembly with installation occurring in the opposite direction.
