How to remove and install the Cam Gear on Mazda MX-6?

In order to take off the components, raise the front of the vehicle first and hold it safely on jackstands and then unscrew the right front wheel and inner fender splash shield. Then take out the bolts that held the crankshaft pulley to the timing belt sprocket. Use a screwdriver to squeeze between the teeth to lock the flywheel in place, remove the sprocket bolt and sprocket. To install, mount the sprocket on the crankshaft and mount the crankshaft pulley and the sprocket bolts, tighten them to finger tight then apply the recommended torque. Lastly, install the splash shield and front wheel again and lower the vehicle.
