Fitting a replacement front turn signal, parking and side marker lights To replace the front turn signal, parking and side marker lights, the first step is to remove the screw(s) holding the front light in place. The bulbs are available in the engine compartment of vehicles with models as early as 2000 and beyond with no need to take away the combination light housing. Then take off the light assembly. In the 1994 and previous ones the light bulb holder can be pulled out, unplugged, and the bulb holders can be turned to remove the combination light bulb. In the case of the 1995 and after models, remove the bulb/socket assembly out of the light assembly socket. Install the bulb by twisting or pulling it out when necessary and then put everything back in reverse order. To replace the rear brake, turn signal, tail, back-up lights, and side markers on the sedan models, it is necessary to use the trunk lid and remove the trunk trim at the corners to gain access. The inside of the trunk, unscrew the light bulb socket holder, or the light bulb itself, and twist the combination light bulb to detach the holder and possibly, unscrew the retaining nut to extract the entire combination light assembly and also disconnect the wiring. In models back up to 1994, the rear side marker light may be removed by unscrewing and twisting the bulb holder.
