Take the cable off the negative terminal of the battery and take off the electrical connectors of the alternator. Unscrew the adjustment and pivot bolts and remove the drivebelt. Take out the alternator out of the engine. When making a replacement make sure that the replacement is similar to the previous one. Installation is the opposite of removing, fix the drivebelt tension later.
