How to replace the camshaft seal after disconnecting the negative battery cable on 1997 Mazda MPV?

Disconnect the negative battery wire and place the engine on the compression stroke with cylinder number 1. Take out the drivebelts, crankshaft pulley and the timing belt. Make the camshaft sprocker stationary, unscrew the sprocket bolt, and take off the old oil seal. Wipe the clean surfaces then refit parts in the opposite order.
