To replace the hood latch, mark position, remove bolts, release cable sleeve, unhook cable by depressing tabs, disconnect connectors and remove latch. Reverse to install; adjust for secure engagement. Remove interior release lever, feed a wire and pull cable, swap in new cable, seat grommet and reinstall.
