How to replace the multi-function switch with different Steering Column on 2008 Mazda Tribute?

In 2004 and previous models, unscrew the negative side of the battery terminal, install the parking brake and the clockspring and multi-function switch. In models of 2005-2012, disconnect the battery, take off the steering wheel and repeat the process. On 2013 models and onward remove steering column covers and switch. Afterwards reconnect the battery.
