In power mirror models, disconnect the cords of the negative battery terminal. Trim Use a trim tool to remove the door mirror cover and disconnect any electrical connectors. Unscrew the screws that hold the mirror and detach the mirror, and repeat the process. In the case of the rear view mirror, simply press the pin and pull it away off the mount.
