Removing the air cleaner assembly requires removing the PCV valve and hose to begin with. So then pull the retaining bolts out and detach the cover off the engine which can be tricky to break the seal of the gasket tapping the cover with a soft faced hammer or scraping with a thin blade scraper or screwdriver at the corner. Cleanse all of the gasket material off the mating surfaces of the camshaft cover gasket, taking care not to nick or gouge the soft aluminum. To install, place the cover and new gasket, and install the attaching bolts and tighten them to the recommended torque and replace the air cleaner and PCV assemblies.
