How to disconnect and remove the radio and Car Speakers on Mazda 3?

Remove the cable from the negative battery terminal. 2009 and earlier models: Remove the decorative trim panel. 2010 and later models: Remove the center trim panel. To access and detach the radio assembly, remove the mounting screws. Lift the radio and disconnect the electrical connectors and antenna cable from the back of the radio; installation is the reverse of removal. Both front and rear door speakers involve removal of the door trim panel, followed by the speaker mounting screws. Pull the speaker out of its enclosure and disconnect the speaker electrical connectors. Installation is the reverse of removal. To remove the door tweeters, pry off the door mirror cover, disconnect the tweeter electrical connector and remove the tweeter from the back of the mirror cover. Installation is in reverse order. For 2010 and later BOSE sound systems, remove the upper column cover, instrument cluster panel, center panel, center cover and upper dashboard panel. Remove both speaker retaining screws. Lift the speaker out of the upper dashboard panel and disconnect the electrical connector. Installation is the reverse of removal. The 2010 and later model rear speakers include the BOSE sound system. For some vehicles, the package tray may be removed but on models with a liftgate, the C-pillar trim panel may be carefully pried off. To remove the speaker, lift it up in the vehicle while disconnecting the electrical connector after removing mounting screws. Installation is the reverse of removal.

How to remove the radio and Car Speakers on Mazda 6?

For models from 2008 and earlier, disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Next, remove the lower center console, glove box and center trim panel. Remove the radio mounting screws to separate the radio from the center trim panel, and pull the center trim panel out enough to disconnect the electrical harness connector and antenna cable. The installation is the reversal of removal. For 2009 and later models, disconnect the negative battery terminal. Next, remove the shift knob and shift panel. Then, remove the upper instrument panel, decorative trim panel, and both upper and lower center trim panels. Next, take out the climate control unit, then remove the radio unit mounting screws and pull the unit out far enough to disconnect the antenna cable and electrical connectors at the back - installation is a reverse of removal. For the door speakers, both front and back. Remove the door trim panel and unhook the speaker harness from the mount. Remove the mounting screws for the speaker then pull out the speaker and disconnect the electrical connectors. Reverse for installation. to start off with the tweeter at the doors, removal of the door trim panel and also the mirror trim panel must be done first. Next up, disconnect the tweeter electrical connector. For 2008 and earlier models, remove the tweeter's mounting screws. For 2009 and later models, pulling the plastic locking tabs back should remove the tweeter from the mirror trim panel. Then, disengage the tweeter harness from the clip and remove the tweeter. Finally, installation is just the reverse of removal. To sremove the speaker of instrument panel centre of speaker first take off centre upper instrument panel. Then disconnect electrical connector. After that sremove speaker mounting screws. Finally separate speaker from instrument panel centre. Installation is reversal of removal. The procedure for rear speakers differs by year/model. You need to remove the brake light, rear seat cushion, carefully pry off the C-pillar trim panel and remove the package tray. Remove wiring two speaker mounting screws hold the speaker. Lift the speaker to remove it clear of the mounting bracket. To take off steering wheel audio control switch, first disconnect battery negative terminal. Next, remove the driver's side airbag and the steering wheel. Then unplug the electrical connection. After that, remove the mounting screws and take out the audio control switch from the switch bracket. Lastly, installation is the reverse of removal.
