To begin the removal process of the front door speaker, first remove the door trim, followed by loosening and removing the screws that hold the speaker into place. Pull the speaker out of the door, detaching the wire harness plug as you do so. to start, detach the negative battery cable, then extract the inner door trim panel. Next, unbolt the speaker retaining screws and pull out the speaker to unplug the electrical connector. When removing and installing the speaker cone (which is the reverse of removal), take care not to damage the cone. To disconnect the negative battery cable first remove rear speakers.
