    To access the timing chain, press the right timing chain guide to the right, and remove the sprocket on the camshaft, then pull out the lower sprocket on the crankshaft, and the timing chain, making sure that you do not lose the key that puts the crankshaft sprocket into place. Check the teeth of the sprockets, the chain, the timing chain tensioner, the chain guides and check the chain plates and rollers as well as wear and tear, replacing worn out parts. Install the chain guides to the engine block and screw the bolts and pour molybased grease to the guides contacts of the chains. Make sure that the number one Piston is at Top Dead Center, place the timing chain sprocket on the crankshaft and ensure that the keyway aligns with the crankshaft key. Make sure that the chain is placed over the crankshaft sprocket making the plated links fit over the mark on the sprocket and then fit the chain over the camshaft sprocket making the plated links go over the mark on the sprocket. It is recommended to be cautious with rotating the crankshaft till the cylinder head and camshaft have been properly installed. Insert the timing chain tensioner plunger into the tensioner and lock it in and fit an artificial pin to hold the lever until the cylinder head is installed and the camshaft sprocker is bolted. Installation of timing chain cover and cylinder head With the cover of retaining pin removed, install service cover with a fresh gasket and tighten the bolts to the required torque. The rest of the installation is done in the reverse sequence of uninstallation.
