Remove the door trim panel and the inner handle assembly, which is secured with two bolts and a lock tab. Gently peel the plastic water shield away from the door metal, ensuring it remains glued along the bottom. Temporarily install the window winder handle onto the crank to adjust the window, raising the glass about two inches above the bottom window frame while still allowing access to the top of the glass. At the bottom inside the door, locate and remove the two screws and screw grommets that attach the window glass to the regulator, supporting the top of the glass during this process. Once free from the regulator, lift the glass out of the channel. Remove the six bolts across the middle of the door panel that secure the regulator, then take out the regulator through the large access hole at the bottom of the door. To reinstall, lift the regulator until the holes align, then install and tighten all six bolts. Push the window glass through the door frame until the holes in the glass align with those in the regulator, and install the two attaching bolts and grommets. Temporarily install the window winder crank to check for proper operation and make adjustments as needed. Finally, reattach the water shield to the door panel using new weatherstrip adhesive if necessary, and install the inner handle assembly along with the trim panel.
