  How to replace the Clutch Release Bearing and Clutch Fork on Mazda Tribute?

  This process is only applicable in the ancient models which have a Clutch Fork and a release cylinder mounted outside. Start with the removal of the transaxle. The second step is to detach the clutch release fork off the ball-stud and slide the release bearing off the input shaft with the release fork. Cleanse the carrying with a clean rag and examine it carefully on damage, wear and cracks, but do not immerse in solvent as permanently sealed. To test the bearing, make the bearing with the outer race and rotate the inner race with pressure; it should not move easily, and is noisy, then it is necessary to replace it. Since the replacement of the release bearing is not easy, it would be recommended that the bearing should be replaced during the changing of the clutch components. To install, lubricate the friction surfaces of the release bearing, ball-stud and the input shaft bearing retainer slightly with high temperature grease and then attach the Clutch Fork and bearing on the input shaft. Reversion of the steps of removal completes the process.
