Unplug the negative device battery. To access the wiper motor windscreen, detach the nut that secures the wiper arm. Afterwards, use paint to mark the position of the shafts to the wiper arms. Lastly, remove the wipers arms. In the event of a jam, utilize a miniature puller. To remove windshield wiper motor/linkage assembly, first disconnect the wiper motor harness connector, remove the cowl cover and remove the mounting bolts. To remove the motor assembly from the cowl area, lift it up and mark the position of the motor arm to the shaft. Remove linkage, arm and mounting bolts to detach the motor from the bracket. The installation consists of the removal steps done in the reverse order with the markings made correctly aligned. When battery is reconnected, Powertrain Control Module must relearn idle and fuel trim strategy for optimal efficiency and performance. For models after 2013, unbolt the bolts on the motor assembly and lift it so the electrical connection breaks. Remove the motor assembly afterwards. To access the rear window wiper motor, remove the rear window wiper arm, its protective cover and nut. After, open the liftgate to remove the motor's plastic cover. To take out the rear window wiper motor, disconnect the electrical connector, remove mounting nut and bolt(s). The installation process is simply the reverse of the removal procedure. The battery must be reconnected, and the Powertrain Control Module must relearn idle and fuel trim strategy. To access the windshield washer nozzles, you should first locate and remove the fasteners holding the insulation in the hood. Then, remove the hose on the nozzle and press on the outer tabs to remove the nozzle. The process of installation is reverse to that of removal. To remove the washer pump motor, unbolt the passenger's side inner fender splash shield, drain the washer bottle, disconnect the electrical connectors and hoses, tip pump motor out then pull up. The process of installation is opposite to removal. To access the washer fluid reservoir, you will need to take off the passenger's side inner fender splash shield. From there, you can drain the washer bottle, disconnect electrical and hose connections, remove the plastic retainer and take out the mounting bolts. Finally pull the washer bottle through the passenger's side wheel well. Installation process is just the reverse of the removal process.
