Oil Pressure Switch Installation and Repair Tips for 1988 Mazda B2200

  • Q:
What are the differences between oil pressure senders and oil pressure switches, and how are they tested and installed on 1988 Mazda B2200?
    A:
Gauges have oil pressure senders, and low oil pressure warning lamps have switches. This depends on the location depending on the engine. In order to test the switch, simply disconnect the wire, ground with a jumper wire and test the warning lamp. To take it out, disassemble the battery and wiring and put it back in using a sealer.
