How to remove and install Automatic Transmission Shift Levers on 2006 Mazda 6?

Unscrewing To take off the shift knob, unscrew it off the shift lever assembly. Unplug the cable in the battery negative post and wait then proceed. Take off the floor console indicator panel, the interlock cable and electrical connectors. Installation To install the shift assembly, remove the mounting nuts, then put them back in the reverse order to remove.
