How to remove and install Automatic Transmission Shift Levers and their shift knobs on 2010 Mazda 3?

In order to take out the shift knob, unscrew it off the shifter. This shift lever assembly should be changed by disconnection of the cable to the battery and waiting. Then take off the floor console. Separate the cable eye and the shifter, unhook the cable, disconnect the electrical connector and remove the mounting bolts. Installation is the reverse of these.
