How to remove and install a Cam Gear on Mazda 626?

The timing belt can be removed by first removing the timing belt front cover, then the timing belt itself and finally the camshaft cover. Then hold on to the Cam Gear with an extension and socket onto one of the bolts of the front cover to ensure that it does not rotate and then remove the bolt, Cam Gear and washer. To install, place the Cam Gear on the camshaft making sure that the Cam Gear and cover marks are aligned. Install the washer and the bolt when installing the camshaft with the use of a wrench and tighten the bolt to the defined torque. Lastly, install the timing belt, cover and other removed parts.
