    In order to remove and install components to fit the 1.998CC engine, it is necessary to first disconnect the battery ground, then remove the distributor, radiator shroud, alternator, air injection pipes, fan pulley, hub and bracket. When removing also take out the air conditioning compressor and power steering pump drive belt, then the crankshaft pulley and baffle plate, upper and lower belt covers. To install, first fit the upper and lower belt covers then crankshaft pulley and baffle plate, then the power steering pump and a/c compressor drive belts, then the fan pulley, hub, and bracket, then reconnect the air injection pipes, then the alternator, fan, radiator shroud, and distributor, and then connect the battery ground. In the case of the 2.184CC engine begin with a negative battery cable being disconnected, removal of the spark plug wires and the spark plugs, then remove the engine side cover and the drive belts, unbolt the crankshaft pulley, remove upper and lower timing belt covers, with the installation being the opposite.
