Mazda B2200 Flasher Relay Parts and Q&A

  • Q:
Where are the Relay Boxes for the hazard warning flasher,Flasher Relay and turn signal flasher located, and how can they be removed on Mazda B2200?
    A:
The pickup hazard warning flasher is to the left of the steering column, below the instrument panel fastened by a clamp and a screw to remove it, unplug the electrical connector, loosen the screw and slide the flasher out of the clamp. The turn signal flasher is mounted under the instrument panel and to the right of the steering column and is fastened the same way as the hazard flasher. Turn signal relay is next to the hazard flasher, to the right of it, and is held by two screws; disassembly is accomplished by unscrewing the electrical connector and removing the screws. The relays and flashers under the dash are located under the dash in the MPV, and are located close to the fuse box. To the Navajo the turn signal flasher and the hazard warning flasher are both fitted to the fuse panel; the fuse panel is accessed by removing the cover at the bottom of the instrument panel below the steering column first by removing two fasteners then pulling the cover down until the spring clips are disconnected. The turn signal flasher component is attached at the front of the fuse panel whereas the hazard warning flasher is attached at the rear.
