How to remove and reinstall the headlight motor assembly on Mazda RX-7?

Open the hood and raise the headlight to the 'up' position, then disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the six screws securing the headlight bezel and take off the bezel. Disconnect the electrical couplers leading to the headlight retractor motor, and under the headlights, disconnect the link from the hinge assembly at its ball pivot location by prying it off. Remove the four bolts securing the motor assembly to the inner fender panel and take out the motor with the linkage as a unit. If needed, detach the linkage assembly from the motor. For re-installation, position the motor and linkage, loosely install the four securing bolts to the fender panel, and connect the link to the hinge assembly bail pivot, applying a little multi-purpose grease to the pivot first. Tighten the four attaching bolts securely, reconnect the electrical couplers, and install the headlight bezel with the six screws. Finally, connect the negative battery cable and test the operation of the motor, adjusting the headlight lid as necessary.
