To access the front turn signal and parking light bulbs on the driver's side headlight housing, remove the battery air inlet and the air filter housing air inlet duct. For the passenger's side, detach and set aside the power steering fluid reservoir. Turn the bulb holder counterclockwise to remove it from the headlight housing without disconnecting the electrical connector. Pull the bulb straight out of the holder for replacement, and installation follows the reverse order. For front side marker light bulbs in 2010 and earlier models, push the back of the side marker light housing forward to lift it out, disconnect the electrical connector, and pull the bulb straight out. Installation requires ensuring the hook end goes in first before snapping the housing in place. In 2011 models, if the bulb is not working, the entire side marker light assembly must be replaced. Detach the mirror glass and its holder, disconnect the electrical connector if equipped with heated mirrors, and remove the side marker while detaching the tab, with installation reversing the removal steps. For fog light bulbs, raise the front of the vehicle, remove the fasteners to pull back the inner fender splash shield, disconnect the electrical connector, and turn the fog light bulb counterclockwise to remove it. Insert the new bulb and turn it clockwise to lock it in place, with installation otherwise reversing the removal. For the center high-mounted brake light bulb in 4-door models, remove the trunk lid trim, rotate the bulb holder counterclockwise to pull it out, and remove the bulb straight from the holder, with installation reversing the removal. In liftgate models, open the liftgate, pry out the upper section of trim, and follow the same steps as for the 4-door models. For taillight bulbs, fold back the trunk floor carpeting, reposition the flexible trunk side trim panel, rotate the taillight bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it, and pull the bulb straight out. Installation is the reverse of removal. For license plate light bulbs, unclip the housing, rotate the socket counterclockwise to remove it, and pull the bulb straight out, with installation reversing the removal. For interior map light bulbs, pry the housing down to disengage the clips, disconnect the electrical connector, rotate the socket counterclockwise to remove it, and pull the bulb straight out. Installation follows the reverse order. For overhead light bulbs, pry off the lens, pull the bulb straight out, and installation is the reverse of removal.

Fitting a replacement front turn signal, parking and side marker lights To replace the front turn signal, parking and side marker lights, the first step is to remove the screw(s) holding the front light in place. The bulbs are available in the engine compartment of vehicles with models as early as 2000 and beyond with no need to take away the combination light housing. Then take off the light assembly. In the 1994 and previous ones the light bulb holder can be pulled out, unplugged, and the bulb holders can be turned to remove the combination light bulb. In the case of the 1995 and after models, remove the bulb/socket assembly out of the light assembly socket. Install the bulb by twisting or pulling it out when necessary and then put everything back in reverse order. To replace the rear brake, turn signal, tail, back-up lights, and side markers on the sedan models, it is necessary to use the trunk lid and remove the trunk trim at the corners to gain access. The inside of the trunk, unscrew the light bulb socket holder, or the light bulb itself, and twist the combination light bulb to detach the holder and possibly, unscrew the retaining nut to extract the entire combination light assembly and also disconnect the wiring. In models back up to 1994, the rear side marker light may be removed by unscrewing and twisting the bulb holder. Hatchback cars need to open the rear hatch and find the right panel to twist and pull out the bulb holder. In the case of sedan models, the rear license plate and finish panel are optional, remove the rear license plate, twist and pull the holder of the light to replace the bulb. Hatchback models have screws and lens that must be removed in order to reach the bulbs. In the case of the high-mounted brake light, the retaining pins or screws are removed then the bulb holder is twisted and pulled to change the bulb. The interior lights are also accessible by removing the light lens and changing the bulb but those models that have a sunroof can remove the map lights by removing the rearview mirror and the cover of the panel. In the case of instrument cluster lighting, the cluster itself has to be taken off in order to reach the bulbs on the back.

Fitting a replacement front turn signal, parking and side marker lights To replace the front turn signal, parking and side marker lights, the first step is to remove the screw(s) holding the front light in place.
