Start with emptying the system. The second step is to remove the negative battery cable with battery and the electrical connectors of the right headlight and front combination light. Lift the grille on the lower plus the radiator plus the grille to reach an A/C Accumulator, then scrape off the right side headlight and the combination light assembly. Disconnect the refrigerant lines with the A/C Accumulator and fit the open fittings to avoid the entry of dirt and moisture. Relax the mount bracket screw and take off the A/C Accumulator. Should the installer be required to install a new A/C Accumulator, pour the oil into a measuring cup, marking the quantity of the oil that came out of the old A/C Accumulator, and then add oil to the new unit equal to the quantity of oil that came out of the old accumulator plus one ounce. Also change the old refrigerant line O-rings to new ones with or without a new A/C Accumulator. The process of reinstallation is reversed to the way of its removal and care should be taken to lubricate the O-rings of the fittings using refrigerant oil before joining them. Lastly, evacuate, recharge and leak test the system by the leak test shop that released it.
