What steps should you follow to disconnect and remove the air filter box components on Mazda Protege?

Get acquainted with the parts of the intake air system, and then move on. Disassemble the mass airflow sensor electrical connector by unlocking the electrical connector lock tabs by unplugging the lock tabs. Find the hose between the air intake and the valve cover and unscrew it by unclamping the hose and loosening it out of the valve cover. Loose the air intake hose clamp on the throttle body and loosen the air intake hose by loosening the clamp and removing the air intake hose at the throttle body. This step is done to loosen the air intake hose clamp at the resonance chamber and then the air intake hose is removed by loosening the clamp and pulling the air intake hose out of the resonance chamber. Weaken the clamp on the small hose at the resonance chamber with needle-nose pliers and unconnect the hose. Unclamp the hose on the air cleaner housing and take out the resonance chamber by loosening the hose clamp on the air filter. To extract the air cleaner assembly out of the engine compartment, remove the connecting bolt(s) then the installation is inversely the same.
