In order to take the harmonic balancer off, you will first have to break the negative cable off the battery and then lift the front of the car up on jackstands. Insert a bolt through one of the holes in the harmonic balancer after which a large screwdriver or prybar will be used to keep the balancer still whilst loosening the balancer bolt. Having a socket and a ratchet on the center bolt, insert a large prybar or screwdriver between the installed bolt and socket to ensure the balancer does not turn then unscrew the bolt in the crankshaft. Slide the balancer off the nose of the crankshaft, with a puller, should it be stuck, taking certain care not to grasp the hub with the puller and only the hub. To install, position the keyway of the balancer with the key of the crankshaft and press the balancer. Do not allow the crankshaft to turn like described in the above, then place on and screw up the balancer bolt. Lastly, install the rest of the parts in the order of removal.
