How to remove and install the A/C switch on Mazda Tribute?

Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Remove the dashboard center trim panels, noting that on 2013 and later models, it may be easier to first pry out and remove the vent located directly above the control assembly before taking out the air conditioning control assembly trim panel. For 2013 and later models, pry the heater/air conditioner control assembly trim panel out. Remove the retaining screws for the heater/air conditioner control assembly, which on 2013 and later models retain the control assembly directly to the dash. For 2007 and earlier models, disconnect the temperature blend door control cables, the blower motor switch, and the temperature control switch connectors, while on later models, disconnect the wiring harness from the back side of the control assembly. Installation is the reverse of removal.
