    Installing and fitting the drive chain for the Camshaft correctly is very important because the camshaft controls the opening of valves in the engine in accordance with the crankshaft and piston strokes. The Intake Valve has to open during the intake stroke to introduce the mixture of air and fuel to the cylinder whereas the valves should be closed during compression and power strokes, and the valves should be opened during the exhaust strokes. Lack of coordination in these activities may result in low engine performance. In order to remove and install, you should unscrew the cylinder head and front cover without unscrewing the intake and Exhaust Manifolds. Ask to take off the Oil Pump, chain, tensioner of chain and other parts as required. During installation, there is a need to establish the position of the crankshaft gear, tighten the slackness chain of the oil pump, install the oil slinger, and timing chain tensioner taking necessary adjustments. Continue with the installation of the cylinder head, camshaft, rocker arm shafts and make sure that the tension of the timing chain is properly adjusted and then replace the front cover together with the adjustment of the valve clearance. Different engine sizes may have a few slight variations in processes such as requiring a guide in the chain adjuster in some models, and when manipulating the timing chain case there is the risk of dropping it and it is constructed of aluminum. It is important to ensure that coolant is always emptied in a container with a seal or a close-lid container so that pets are not harmed and that protective gloves should be used whenever dealing with used engine oil. Once the installation is completed, make sure that all the components are installed back in the reversed order and make sure to check the alignment and the torque specification during the process.
