How to remove and install the Air Temperature Sensor and Mass Air Flow Sensor on Mazda Tribute?

On the 2013 and subsequent models with 1.5L, 1.6L, and 2.0L that are fitted with a MAF/IAT sensor in the intake air duct, start by unbolstering the engine cover. Then, find the sensor of MAF/IAT in the intake duct and unplug the sensor electrical connector. In case the sensor has screws, unscrew the screws and extract the IAT sensor out of the duct of intake, and is located close to the air filter housing. In case the sensor spins and clips into the intake air duct, use a pry to open the tang, turn the sensor 45 degrees counterclockwise and extract it out of the air duct. The removal is inversed to the process of installing.
