In order to disassemble the wheel, loosen lug nuts, lift the vehicle and place it safely on the jackstands and then remove the wheel. In the next step, loosen the brake caliper and hold it up using a piece of wire and finally take off the caliper mounting bracket. In case of replacement of the hub assembly only, unscrew the spindle nut grease cover, unstake the spindle nut and take it off; do away with old hub and fit a new one because the hub is not rebuildable. Whenever some wheel studs require changing, they can be pressed out and pressed in either with a C-clamp and two sockets, but stubborn studs might require a hydraulic press. Should the whole steering knuckle be being done, disconnect tie-rod end with the steering knuckle arm, separate the control arm with steering knuckle and remove the strut-to-knuckle nuts and bolts to pull out the top of the knuckle out of the strut flange. To install, place the top of the steering knuckle between the flanges of the struts and attach the strut-to-knuckle bolts and nuts but do not tighten them fully. Rewind the control arm and tie-rod end to the steering knuckle, and screw up the strut-to-knuckle bolt to the designated torque. Should the hub be taken out, put in a new nut, with little grease to press the inner race of the hub onto the spindle. Lastly, fit the brake disc, the caliper mount, and caliper assembly, screw the hub nut to the required torque, fit the wheel, hand tighten the lug nuts, and then screw the lug nuts to the required torque.
