Removal is the opposite of installation, and insuring that the throttle body mounting nuts/bolts are attached to the required tightness. In 2006 and subsequent models drain the coolant, disconnect air intake duct, disconnect electrical connector and coolant hoses of throttle body and remove throttle body of air intake plenum and dispose old gasket. Installation is done in reverse with a new gasket and tightening the throttle body mounting bolts to the needed torque.
