First of all, unplug the bumper cover mounting tabs in the upper rear edges to the lower edge slots in the front fenders, by pulling the bumper cover outwards, beginning at the fender side and pulling towards the center. Check with a final look with a flashlight to see that the bumper cover is thoroughly uncovered, all the electrical connectors are uncomingled and all the wiring harnesses are clear of the area. Installation is the opposite of removal with the help of removing the front bumper cover. In the case of the rear bumper cover, firstly, take out the taillight housing assemblies, lift the rear part of the vehicle and put it on jackstands. Take off the mounting fasteners of the rear of the wheel wells, then in the taillight area, take off the pin-type fastener and bolt on each upper corner of the rear bumper cover then the mounting fasteners of the underside of the rear bumper cover.
